Welcome one and all to the... (drumroll please)

TOP 100 GREATEST LOONEY TUNES CARTOONS OF ALL TIME!

For those of you who are new to this blog (and being my first entry, I'm willing to bet most of you are), allow me to explain said-blog.  The following posts will reflect my personal choices for the 100 best Looney Tunes shorts of all time.  

Now a few disclaimers:

1) These are Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies shorts; no MGM, no Hanna-Barbera, no Disney (nothing against Tex Avery's work outside of Warner Bros., he will always remain one of my favorite animators, but I need to create some boundaries here).

2) Toons selected may come from any time, starting from when Termite Terrace was founded to current day.  Warner Bros. has indeed released new cartoons within the last few years, and some of the more current ones may land on this list.

3) When I use the term, "shorts", I mean cartoons lasting around 5-7 minutes.  No specials, no movies, nothing like that.  

4) This is my opinion, not fact.  A lot of you will disagree with what I have to say, and that's your right.  I'm not going by what animation historians say (no disrespect to Jerry Beck and others, you guys are awesome), or how many awards said cartoon won, or anything like that.  These are my personal favorites.  The reasons may vary from humor and style to as simple as it's a toon I remember growing up with.  In fact, if you disagree then go ahead and tell me; I encourage feedback and love to know what you guys think.
